11-16 April 2015 – The Blue Mountains, NSW – Workshops of Outstanding Quality

About ContextART

Welcome to Contextart for 2015. Now entering its 4th successful year, Contextart is a unique event that promotes the Textile Arts and the wider creative context. Join us in the beautiful Blue Mountains of NSW for 2-Day, 4-Day or 6-Day workshops that celebrate basketry, printmaking, felting, knitting, shoe making, carving and much more, from the 11th to 16th April, 2015.

Workshops are held at the historical Korowal School in Hazelbrook delivered by highly experienced National and International tutors.

As well as offering a collection of excellent workshops there will be installations, exhibitions, traders and a Twilight Market, Sunday afternoon April 12th, from 4-6pm.

Contextart is a non-residential event offering an endless choice of accommodation options for you to choose from across the popular mountains tourist destination. Workshops start at 9.30am each day and end at 4.00pm. Delicious lunch options can be purchased, along with great coffee from the onsite barista.

Come and join us for crisp mornings and warm days this Autumn in the glorious mid-mountains; surround yourself with stunning National Parks and bush lands and immerse yourself in creativity.

We look forward to seeing you.
